- Upgrading the Environment of Care – Crucial items that impact care indirectly by improving surroundings or enhancing efficiency for staff. Often overlooked, these items are essential to bettering community health.
- Staff Well-being and Celebration – Improving mental health and celebrating achievements.
Donor funding is imperative to all aspects of patient care. The Ministry of Health funds staff salaries and day-to-day operational costs, but community support covers the rest.
*Not included: the $7.6 million raised for the MRI – part of a $10 million joint campaign. Those funds will be reflected in next year’s report.
